Megan Rahhal is a pediatric occupational therapist who is dedicated to provided quality and individualized care to all of her clients. She has a passion for working with children and enjoys building relationships with her clients and their families through fun, meaningful, and engaging therapy sessions.
Education
Megan earned her Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 2012. She then attended Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee and earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy degree in 2015.
Career
Megan has always had a passion for working with children. Whether it was babysitting as a teenager, working at various summer camps, volunteering in special needs classrooms, or coaching gymnastics, she has found opportunities to engage and help the pediatric population in any way she can. After receiving her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, Megan returned to her home town of Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she worked in a pediatric outpatient clinic for two years before moving to the Phoenix area in 2017, Megan. She has worked exclusively in the pediatric outpatient setting and has experience working with clients from birth through young adulthood with nearly every diagnosis imaginable including, but not limited to: autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, Fragile X, brachial plexus injury, torticollis, hemiplegia, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, lissencephaly, polymicrogyria, Dandy Walker syndrome, cortical visual impairment, blindness, apraxia, hypotonia, periventricular leukomalacia, and various genetic and cephalic disorders. Megan has also worked in a non-traditional setting providing therapy services for children on a farm for rescue pigs and goats. Megan joined the Total Pediatric Therapy Team in January of 2023. In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time with her family (baby boy born in September 2022), reading, swimming, watching gymnastics, playing video games, and watching Disney movies.
