Our daughter Kamila has been seeing Katie for about six months now. We are absolutely blown away by the progress she has made in such a short period of time. Prior to beginning sessions with Katie, Kamila had been to several other physical therapists in the Phoenix area for extended periods of time where she did not make much progress. Not only is Katie knowledgeable about pediatric physical therapy in general, she is so attentive to each of her clients. She is understanding, kind, caring, supportive and adjusts sessions with just the right challenge so Kamila can meet her goals. My only wish is that we had met Katie sooner! We highly recommend Katie to any parent/caregiver looking for an extraordinary pediatric physical therapist for their child.

Dr. Prenovost has become like a member of the family. She advocated for our sons diagnosis and we wouldn’t have found it without her. Her hard work and dedication to our son has been there from the very beginning. Dr. Prenovost is the reason our son is able to walk today! We are so grateful for her.

We have had such a wonderful experience at Total Pediatric Therapy! Both of my daughters were born with infant torticollis due to their position in the uterus. Katie is very knowledgeable and professional. She provided us with information on the topic and taught us how to do the necessary stretches at home. All of our questions were answered and we are very happy with the progress that both girls have made. We are so grateful to have Katie as a physical therapist for our daughters. She truly has their best interest in mind and ensures that they are meeting appropriate milestones. We are grateful for the progress our teen is making with Katie. We had no idea that clumsiness, lack of body awareness and motor planning, and an atypical gait were things that could be improved with physical therapy. Improvements are happening quickly for him. We attribute it to Katie's skill in evaluation and selection of foundational initial goals. Equally important has been her attention to the progression of work moving forward at a pace that is challenging, yet never demotivating. I imagine this contributes to the work he is willing to put into the home exercise portion of his treatment. Lastly, we also appreciate her positive demeanor and willingness to explain any details and reasonings that pique our curiosity.

I have had the pleasure of having Katie work with both of my boys in the span of 4 years. When I was told my second had to go to physical therapy as well, I wasn’t nervous, and was even a little excited to see Katie again. She is amazing, kind, and makes you feel comfortable. We were referred to Katie from our pediatrician after my 10 month old was not progressing in his lower extremity motor skills. Katie has been so informative, patient and a pleasure to work with. I am so happy with the progress we have seen with my son (after just 4 visits) and can’t wait for the day that he is moving age appropriately.

If you are in need of physical therapy for your kiddo, this is the place and Katie is your girl! My daughter is a now 6 year old, who started seeing Katie just a few months into her cancer treatment. She has been with us through so many bumps in the road and has worked with every curve we may have thrown at her. She is a pleasure to work with.
